It’s the age of endless selfies and almost everyone are taking photos
of themselves including old grandmas to little babies. People even take
the extra mile just to perfect that great selfie of a lifetime. After
all, the feeling is just amazing after looking at your selfie and
realizing it came out stunning.
A selfie however should not cost you your precious life no matter how
amazing it was taken. Unfortunately, this is exactly what happened to
these people who tragically died while trying to get the ultimate
selfie.
There’s A Tornado? Lemme Take A Selfie First!
This guy doesn’t count because he was fortunately not harmed while

this guy on the other hand even had the guts to take a shameless selfie.

hit with 1,500 volts of electricity. Unfortunately, Xenia did not
survive.
Polish Couple Fell Of The Cliff
A Polish family was on vacation in Portugal with their two young
children aged 5 and 6 respectively. The couple decided to cross a safety
barrier to get to the cliff’s edge to take a perfect selfie but they
ended up plummeting to their death. What is more traumatic is the fact
that their young children witnessed how their parents died.
60 Feet Fall
A 16-year old girl from Italy named Isabella Fracchiolla suffered
serious injury after falling over the railing of a promenade. Isabella

unluckily the fall caused too much damage to her body.
Selfie With a Gun
A Mexican guy named Oscar Otero Aguilar wants to take a selfie with a
gun but he was unaware that it was loaded. He pointed the gun to his
head and tried to take a selfie but unfortunately the gun discharged. A
bullet came out and struck him in the temple. When police responded,
Oscar was still alive but they were unable to save him. The whole thing
was a terrible accident so the lesson here is not to play with guns.
Uploading Photos Via Facebook

me so HAPPY.” Seconds after she posted the status she crashed head on
into a truck, leading to her untimely death.

A Puerto Rican rapper named Ramon Gonzalez, more commonly known for
his stage name Jadiel was going for a visit in Rochester, New York and
decided to take his motorcycle out. Before he left, he took a selfie
which would be the last one he’ll ever take because later that day he
met his tragic death when he lost control of his motorcycle.
Death on a Bathroom Door
An 18-year old girl named Kelen Gutierrez died after attempting to
take a photo while hanging from a bathroom door in 2014. The story that
circulated claimed that she was a fan of taking selfies in outrageous
places and posed on a door, where she later fell and struck her head on
the toilet causing her untimely death. The photo that circulated
alongside this story was actually a photo of the crime scene from Reeva
Steenkamp’s murder.
Hoax Deadly Selfies
In 2014, there were rumors going around the mill that a man was
killed by a shark while taking selfie under the sea. The man was said to
be James Crowlett, a 34-year old insurance salesman from Oregon.

shopped it to look like he was being attacked by a shark.
Why Did They Die?
Believe it or not there’s good money in taking selfies and pictures
with your phone. Whether these people were doing it for the money or the
thrill…who knows.
Seriously though, you wouldn’t believe how simple pictures taken with
your phone can make you good money. Take the extreme example of Kim
Kardashian, she makes millions of dollars a year with her little selfie
product promos. Obviously you’re not her but you’d be surprised that
it’s not hard to actually earn cash with the photos you take.
