US
rapper and musician Afroman has been ordered to undergo anger
management counselling following his conviction for punching a woman who
jumped on stage with him at a gig.
The 40-year-old pleaded
guilty to the simple assault, which happened in February in Biloxi,
Mississippi, and was given a six-month suspended jail term and a $330
fine.
Following the incident he apologised on his Facebook page but blamed the music venue, Kress Live, for poor security.
The victim, Hayley Byrd, is suing Afroman - real name is Joseph Edgar Foreman - alleging she suffered concussion.
