Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko, considers himself to be very lucky after
surviving an accident that left his Ford Sport Utility Vehicle badly
damaged on Friday.
Speaking to our correspondent on the
incident, the actor – who turned 60 in January – says he has since
recovered from the scare caused by the incident.
He notes, “I have got over it and really
thank God for saving my life. It occurred very close to the Ikeja
Shopping Mall, just by the Bola Tinubu statue. It was as a result of
brake failure. Thankfully, I was not hurt though the car kept swinging
from left to right before it finally stopped. I survived miraculously
and was assisted out of the vehicle by officials of the Lagos State
Transport Management Authority and emergency workers.”
